Other than that HFM is a bit more buggy than HPM, but not too much However dont think HFM is too railroady, you can definetly still do your own thing, its just that colonial borders will generaly look similar ( although if you think about it both in HPM and vannila france and the UK are the ones that get the Majority of Africa 90% of the time anyway).
